Updating iPhone AppIt has been almost a month that they have promisding to update the iPhone App to ios 11 and nothjing so far.So we cannot use the mobile App with all its features. I am still giving them a 7 because they have good international rates through the acquisition of Call Select. |

Absolutely TerribleThe worst company you ever can sign up with. They charge you much more than other companies with much lower quality. In one word AVOID. |

DON'T DO IT!The absolute WORST company I've ever dealt with. The product is GARBAGE....not even worth 1 star. Disconnected my service with these clowns (probably talked to 5 or 6 people to do so). And then I was still getting billed. Another couple of phone calls for that. Please save yourself and DO NOT sign up with them. What a horrific experience!! |

Setup Fee | Long Distance Rates |
Canada: FREE |
Comwave is a Canadian Telecom Provider, among the internet services Comwave has Home Phone & Long Distance. They offer services for the Home and Business.
Comwave Long Distance Phone Plans
Comwave's Long Distance service is based on bundles, such as Canada-wide calling, called Canada Unlimited, for $5. The Canada/US unlimited option is $10/monthly. Many Home Phone providers do give nowadays Canada/US calling included or at least Canada wide calling with their base packages. Thus be informed before making a purchase of a Comwave long-distance bundle that maybe not required.
Other notable Long Distance bundles from Comwave are;
- Global 1,000: 1k Minutes to call a list of 20 Countries at $10 per month
- Unlimited India: Unlimited Calling to India landline and mobile phones at $29.95 per month
- Unlimited Canada& USA: Unlimited Calling to Canada and the USA at $10 per month
The Comwave long-distance rates for Canadian typical destination when calling internationally such as China, India or the Philipines while slightly better than the traditional telecom providers is more expensive than Canada's Top International Long Distance Providers.
Also shall be noted while there is a smartphone app is only for the calling feature, you cannot use it for texting and even if you have a Comwave Home Phone it is not integrated with your home phone; the app either uses your mobile's phone number when calling or is a different phone number.
In summary, GoneVoIP believes there is nothing distinctive about Comwave international long-distance service nor the calling rates. Perhaps potential customers shall pay attention to the generally negative consumer perception about Comwave services. In short, we believe there are better choices in the market.
