went far and above to get it rightWent in to Thedford today, once for a changed modem, and again for a router. Both very efficient and friendly. Although I find internet cost high most everywhere, the tech on the phone was simply great. Nicole, I think. She put me at ease with setting up all my e- devices and knew why my difficult tech problem called for one problem. I've had good service before, there, but N went far and above with answers that I normally don't get. Thanks. |

SatisfiedI've had Execulink Internet for 15+ years. About 4 years ago it started to slow down. I live in a 40-year-old subdivision. There is a copper cable that Execulink uses for the internet. My internet download speed & upload were fine for many years. About 5 years ago it started slowing down. I called Execulink.& the run around started. Finally one of the techs told me the real problem. The copper cable had a limit & as more customers hooked the less speed they got. I forget all the numbers now. The problem was solved when they told me I could get internet thru Rogers cable which I already had for TV.Haven't had a problem since. It was a pain getting my internet speed up but once resolved I haven't had a problem. I'm now switching to Fiber for internet, TV & phone. I'll review that once it's been installed for a while. Overall, other than the glitch with internet speed I have found Customer Service to be very helpful. My email is thru Execulink & I got discounted & they were very helpful in getting it going again. |

ExcellentI have been with Execulink for almost 20 years, first in the London area and now in Toronto. I've never had any complaints about this company. On the rare occasion that there's a problem (caused by weather, etc.), they post information about it on their phone line. If I need help, I rarely have to wait any time at all, and the employees are always knowledgeable and helpful. If I need them to call me back, they do so very quickly. Very good customer service! |

Great TV and Internet ServiceWe have had Execulink for about 2 years.Very satisfied with both their Internet service and TV. We love the smart phone TV app and cloud DVR. We have had some minor issues over the years, but I must say that the level of customer service is top notch, always answered our questions and fixed any glitches in timely fashion. A great competitive alternative. |

Execulink is by far one of the oldest telecommunications providers in Canada. Execulink is over a century old having been founded way back in 1904. Execulink boasts a very large number of providing services. It has provided its services to over 50,000 businesses both residential, and government-based. This track record is in fact very impressive. Their headquarters can be found at 1127 Ridgeway Road Woodstock, Ontario N4V 1E3 Canada.
Not only does Execulink provide VoIP and internet services, but it also does a lot of charity work! It has supported over 150 non-profit organizations and charitable organizations every year! As impressive as this may seem, it is important that we get down to the nitty-gritty and see what their service is like!
Execulink offers Cable internet plans which have download speeds of 5 Mbps to 150 Mbps. These are the usual speeds for basic residential internet service. The bandwidth limit for the plans goes from 40 GB per month, which is nothing based on today's standards to a more reasonable amount of 400 GB with unlimited options available for $5 more. You could also have any plan with an unlimited option.
See detail all residential Internet plans from Execulink Internet options.
- 6 Mbps Down, 0.8 Mbps Up, Unlimited Usage at $50 a month
- 15 Mbps Down, 1 Mbps Up, Unlimited Usage at $55 a month
- 25 Mbps Down, 10 Mbps Up, Unlimited Usage at $60 a month
- 50 Mbps Down, 5 Mbps Up, Unlimited Usage at $65 a month
Upon review and a close comparison of the Ultra plan to Altima Telecom 75 Mbps plan which is unlimited, we can see Execulink is a tad pricer. Altima's 75 Mbps Cable plan is $39.99 a month and Execulink Unlimited option is $64.99, Altima's plan is $25 a month cheaper, that's $300 a year!. That is some cash you could be spending elsewhere. In GoneVoIP's review of the Execulink cable internet plans, we found these to be in general cheaper than Rogers and Cogeco. Execulink does offer a free usage time between 2 am to 9 am which is a great incentive that in actuality is a must-have for any internet service provider. Between these hours no download or upload will go against your monthly limit.
All in all the only disappointing factor would be the overage charge. Most internet service providers like Altima, EBox and CIK Telecom internet all include a free modem rental while Execulink is charging $3.95 per month or $6.95 per month for a WiFI modem/router combo. Execulink offers some well-rounded internet packages with some relatively less-than competitive monthly pricing.
