Infonet Technologies is a division of IDT Telecom. With office in Toronto, Ontario Infonet presents itself as an alternative telecommunications provider.
In this review of Infonet we focus on their residential internet plans. To begin we immediately notice Infonet website dated look. Some promotions running since last year have not been updated either.
The following residential internet packages shown as available:
- FTTN 10 Mbps / 1 Mbps (Yearly) $399.99
- FTTN 10 Mbps / 1 Mbps $39.99
- FTTN 15 Mbps / 1 Mbps $39.99
- FTTN 25 Mbps / 10 Mbps $39.99
- FTTN 50 Mbps / 10 Mbps $49.99
The ordering process is supposed to be completed online. However, upon trying to complete the order we noticed there are no plans in the checkout cart. Needless to say we were not able to check for additional fees, such as installation or modem buyout or rental. Based on the lack of updates on their site and inability to make new orders; leads to believe Infonet may be winding down their operations.
