JustVoip Reviews and Plans

JustVoip is a marketing Affiliate of the Infinite Communications Group; Head Office in Vancouver BC. 

The group has been around since 2004 and with the launch of DigitalVoice, it entered the Canadian VoIP Home Phone Providers market segment.

JustVoip.ca is a twin company with the same website that only changes the name of DigitalVoice.ca - otherwise is essentially the same logo, tagline, and offers.

The VoIP features available with DigitalVoice and/or JustVoIP are simply put OK for starter packages. We like the fact they have the support for Softphone; though this is by means of 3rd party software (X-Lite, Zoiper, and 3CXPhone for smartphones) which essentially means is that a subscriber to the service is on their own for any potential issues. 

JustVoIP, same as DigitalVoice monthly rate is definitively on the expensive side; though we do like how DigitalVoice/JustVoip combines calling plans Canada/US PLUS Europe OR Asia; that's a good strategy but missed the mark on how it has been priced.

For example the Unlimited Canada and the USA calling package costs $19.99 a month, when VoIPly has the same plan at $7.40 a month.. or VoIP Much has the same plan at $9.45 a month!

DigitalVoice/JustVoip does also support BYOD which is always a welcome option; DigitalVoice/JustVoip does not provide free ATA the units sold or rent are again on the expensive side.  Shall be noted DigitalVoice/JustVoip does have a monthly network access fee for long-distance calling; it's an odd fee we have not seen in many VOIP providers.

Also when looking at the cancellation generally speaking DigitalVoice/JustVoip does allows time to return (30 days) equipment,  but fees can be significant if returning a rental unit. Those looking for a more matured option may find VoIPly or 1-VoIP; not only are priced lower but also to have a better all-around VoIP offering.
