Lynxnet (formerly Cable-Lynx) was founded in 1980. Their HQ is in Camrose, Alberta. In their glory days, Lynxnet only served the Alberta area. Now Lynxnet is part of the Eastlink group of companies and all packages have moved to match Eastlink's Home Internet.

Lynxnet offers a high-speed cable internet plan called The High Speed 15. It comes in at $55 per month. It includes up to 150 GB of data usage, 15 Mbps download speeds and 1 Mbps upload speeds. If you live in Camrose than the free installation is provided. The Wi-Fi modem is also included in the price. 

Lynxnet also offers two other high-speed plans. The Ultra Speed 25 comes in at $65 per month and gives you 250 GB of monthly data, with download speeds of 25 Mbps and upload speeds of 5 Mbps.

Their most expensive plan is the Ultra Speed 50 which comes in at $80 but offers 400 GB of data, with download speeds of up to 50 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 10 Mbps.

There is no denying that if you live in Camrose, Alberta, this company’s plan is an attractive offer. 15 Mbps speeds are much faster than the average, and free installation and a free modem with no contract is practically unheard of in Canada.

But there is no denying that the free installation and free use of modem benefits are very enticing. Also, the fact that their speed is double that of the main competitors, we recommend looking into Lynx/Eastlink if you live in Camrose, Alberta.
