Worst wifi everHad nothing but problems with Bell since we had it . Been down more then it's been working . Are expected to pay full price for a service you barley received. When you call the company you get a person that speaks broken English has no idea what they are doing and are most times rude asf . Wish people would start a class action civil suit against them because why should they get away with false advertising as we were lied to about speeds we would get |

Nice Try, Bell!!!!It was very expensive to begin with. I'ma be honest with you, The internet was down in November 22 of 2018 all because of unpaid bills that are too overpriced. Not recommended for anyone, and I mean anyone. Only get Bell Mts if you wanna end up broke. |

Completely Useless Customer ServiceOur wi-fi hasn't been working properly for over a month now. We had a power outage, and the internet has been poor ever since. I suspect something in the router got fried. You have to sit right in front of the router to even get a signal. Called them at least a dozen times, and they have a new excuse every time. They refuse to replace the router, and don't seem to have any interest in fixing the issue. Instead they blame the devices in the house, and try to sell us expensive upgrades. Avoid at all costs! |

Promo Plan Speeds |

Manitoba Telecommunication Services or MTS for short was founded more than a century ago back in 1908. Since then they have enjoyed great economic growth and made strides in telecommunications technology. MTS headquarters can be found at 333 Main Street Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 3V6 Canada. In 2016 MTS was acquired by Bell Canada, now going officially as BellMTS.
BellMTS offers a wide variety of internet packages with download speeds ranging from 10 Mbps to a whopping 940 Mbps with upload speeds ranging from 3 Mbps to 940 Mbps. These plans are usually catered to specific clients depending on the needs of the customers. However, our focus will revolve around the residential plans that MTS has to offer.
BellMTS offers a plan they call the Fibe 10 plan, this plan offers download speeds of up to 10 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 3 Mbps. There is no bandwidth limit on this plan, and it costs a total of $70.95 per month.
The unlimited aspect of the plan is not worth the money being charged by MTS. The average user consumption ranges from350 gigs to 650 gigs a month. A consumer can easily find other internet service providers who offer plans within this range for a much lower cost. Furthermore, we were unable to gain access to any additional charges of this plan considering they were not displayed on the website.
Contacting BellMTS about the additional charges via phone call did not help us either; we were turned away because of not being potential customers. Secrecy is not something a reputable internet service provider should work with.
GoneVoIP belives BellMTS needs to dial down on the price of the unlimited package, or they can come up with limited internet plans to provide customers with a more economical alternative. With all things said and done the Fibe 10 plan that BellMTS offers do not bring enough to the table considering its high price tag. To close the topic, BellMTS needs to become more MTS and less Bell to regain lost market appeal.
