Simple Business Solutions is a Canadian telecommunications provider with HQ in Calgary, Alberta. The company is a subsidiary of Helia Voice.

In our review of Simple Business Solutions, we will look at their business VOIP services and see how they stack up against GoneVoip’s top business VOIP providers.

Simple Business Solutions offers three business VOIP plans designed for retail stores as opposed to a business call centre. The three plans are called essential, infinity and global.

The Essential plan is a plan designed for a retail store that only needs the bare essentials – or a retail store that rarely uses their phones. This plan provides 300 minutes for Canada and US nationwide calling. Additional minutes are available at “incredible low rates”. The Essential plan comes in at $14.95.

The Infinity plan is more designed for a retail store which makes regular use of their phone. This plan offers the unlimited US and Canada calling, as well as an option for a toll-free number to be added. The Infinity plan checks in at $23.95 per month.

The Global plan is designed for a global retail store which deals with multiple international import and export transactions.

All plans include unlimited free calling to other Simple Business Phone customers. In addition, all incoming minutes are free.

Simple Business Solutions is specifically designed for retail stores and smaller businesses. Their parent company – Helia Voice – offers two other factions which are designed for more developed businesses. JumboTel is their corporate cloud specialized service. Office Phone Systems is their premium based business phone system.

We were not able to determine the cost of equipment and setup fees as the links on the website which pointed to this information were conveniently broken.

In our review of Simple Business Solutions, we came away impressed with the specified features this company offers. There aren’t any other companies which specialize in retail stores – an often-forgotten business type which has specific needs but rarely gets specialized attention with the rise of the Internet and online shopping.

We also like that the parent company has two other companies which specialize in other business services, thereby allowing a business to pay only for the services they need instead of a huge package which attempts to cover everything but specializes in nothing. It is a shame that other companies don’t follow Helia Voice’s lead.

If you are a small-too-medium sized retail store, we highly recommend Simple Business Solutions as an excellent option; however, we recommend calling and finding out what the specific costs are.
