TamcoTec is a relatively new Telecommunications service provider in Canada and not much is known about them or their history. Their headquarters can be found at 6021 Yonge Street, Suite: 412, Toronto, Ontario, M2M-3W2. The plans that TamcoTec offers are well laid out in terms of specifications of various types of customers.

They offer a variety of services, ranging from DSL internet, Cable internet, and VoIP solutions. Their website is concise and to the point, however to our dismay, there was no terms and conditions policy available. Several attempts were made to gain access to TamcoTec’s terms and conditions policy, but it is only provided to customers who are ready to opt for their service. Let us now review one of TamcoTecs prominent residential VoIP plans!

TamcoTec offers an unlimited plan for the entirety of North America that costs a total of $35 per month. Yes, that is not a typo; we definitely did say $35 per month! The pricing on this plan can only be defined as a joke. PhonePower offers a North American wide plan for only $7.40 per month. That is a difference of $27.60 per month in favor of Phone Power or over $330 a year in savings!. The reasons behind why this plan is so expensive aren’t entirely justified. When  we look at the features, we see these are not at all impressive considering there are no fax capabilities nor smartphone integration!

Considering the influence of smartphones in this day and age, a smart app is absolutely necessary. Whether or not this plan supports international calling is a mystery, and if it does, the rates are a mystery considering no list or table was provided into the specific rates of international calling. 

The concise terms and conditions provided by TamcoTec for the VoIP service only included a few additional charges for line activation which is at $75.00, equipment purchase fee which is $99, and letting customers know that they can also rent to own the equipment!

In conclusion, not much can be said about TamcoTec right now. Due to the fact they appear to be a shady business, run by night. They still have a lot to learn. The pricing on their plan will make it really hard for them to gain a large number of customers, and their website is not at all attractive nor information friendly. Furthermore, they need to share comprehensive terms and conditions page which proves without a doubt whether or not the unlimited aspect of the plan is truly unlimited.
