Dumped them after 9 yearsWas great before Primus, was OK for a few years after then they started jacking up the prices for DIDs, first from $3.95 to $5.95, then less than a year after, up to $7.95. Also ... ped the price per minute by 50%. Was too lazy to change until this last increase motivated me to look elseswhere. Ported my number to voip.ms without a hitch. So much more for your money there. Look into it. |

Unlimitel was a formerly independent business VoIP provider. Was acquired by Primus in April of 2011. Unlimitel operated as a separate business division and maintains the Head Office in Casselman, Ontario. Though now all new customers are directed to Primus Business. Existing Unlimitel customers may access their portal to open support tickets.
Unlimitel now Primus Business (soon to become Distributel) may be an option for a segment of small business or independent contractors. Though for all professionals or businesses looking a full verge of modern business phone features and integration services than something like RingCentral, StratoVox or net2phone are a far better option with an all-encompassing cloud PBX and robust cloud communications solutions.
