WTC Communications is a privately held Business Phone and Internet provider that has been serving the Kingston Ontario region since 1932. They are headquartered in Westport Ontario, with offices in Kingston and Perth. Services can reach throughout Ontario, with partnerships.

What WTC has to offer

WTC Communications Business Phone services include a combination of a cloud-based hosted PBX, telephone hardware sets, and Business Lines over Ethernet. Call features are rich, including auto-attendant, v-mail, employee extensions, hunt groups, and more. Optionally the business VoIP client could choose an onsite PBX from WTC Communications with SIP gateway, router, 24 port Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch, firewall for VPN, and DSU/CSU.

All Business Internet services have unlimited data transfer with speeds ranging from 50 Mbps to 120 Mbps over DSL or cable infrastructure. Prices range from $49.95 to $54.95.  In some remote locations, commercial WIFI can provide Internet speeds of 10 Mbps with a price of $199.99 monthly. Fibre internet solutions are available in select areas with up to 1 Gbps at custom pricing.

WTC Communications will also post an internet speed test for users and provide technical support seven days a week.  Weekday support is 8 am to 10 pm with live chat support being available. 

Home and Business security services are available via a partnership with alarm.com.  Included security features include Monitoring, cellular backup, emailed alerts, web portal, smartphone app, Z-Wave enablement, motion/door/window detectors, indoor cameras, and smoke detectors. Optional features may include lighting controllers, thermostats, outdoor cameras, a remote siren and sensors for Co2 and water.

Four levels of Website hosting are offered that include various levels of Raid Disk Space, Mailboxes, Aliases, and data transfer limits. A $7.50 ‘Email Only’ level is also offered with 5 mailboxes with 10 additional boxes with 1 Gb mailboxes for $10 more

Most favorable advertised rates for the internet require a three-year contract.
